Te Tuhi
Yesterday we went on a really cool trip to Te Tuhi. We had so much fun!! We did some drama then we created an awesome piece of art work around the drama play we did. Our drama play was on the book Giraffes can't dance. Come and have a look inside our classroom sometime to see our final pieces of art.
Maths Olympiad
This week was maths week. We had so much doing lots of different maths activities. Mrs Fletcher organised a really fun week for us. We also had the Year 4 maths olympiad competition. We had two teams competing against the other Year 4 classes. Both of our teams did really well they had to solve maths problems quickly with lots of cheering and noise all around them. We are really proud of both of the Room 17 teams that competed. We are supper proud of Team A they won the whole competition.
Olympics Fun Day
Last week we had an olympics fun day at school to celebrate the olympics that are happening in Tokoyo at the moment. Some of Room 17 wrote some awesome stories about the fun things we did on the Olympic Fun Day. Have a read of them below.
Sunflowers

Dance Lesson

Tug of War
This week we played a learning version of tug of war. We were discussing if we think children should or should not do homework. We all had to come up with two reasons on our viewpoints. Take a look at which side won our tug of war competition.
